11.11 (Air Jordan XI "win like '82"

On October 13th, 2017 Nike did a surprise drop on the SNKRS app. It was this years Air Jordan XI "Win like '82". The early release of the shoes coincided with University of North Carolina hanging their 2017 national championship banner. This isn't the first time we've seen Jordan brand pay homage to MJ's alma mater, almost every model has some kind of "UNC" colorway. Personally, I love that this XI it isn't overpowered by the powder blue we've seen on other models. Don't get me wrong I like the powder blue, but sometimes its a little bit too much for me (ie: Air Jordan 11 pantone).

The past few years Jordan Brand has been inconsistent with the quality of their products, but somehow every year the prices kept going up. In my honest opinion, since Jordan Brand started remastering retros, I believe that they are moving in the right direction. There will be hiccups and not everything being put out will be a hit, but the effort is there making the price increase less painful* on the wallet. While these XIs will retail for $220, you wont be disappointed, especially if you're a fan of the colorway.

This XI features white ballistic mesh, Carolina blue Jumpman, midnight navy patent leather, white phylon midsole, full length air unit, carbon fiber plate, and icy blue outsole. It's basically a Concord XI (rumored for holiday 2018) except it isn't, makes sense?. My favorite part of this model, just like the space jams from last year, is the higher patent leather cut. Im a huge fan of it and others aren't, I don't blame them because for years we've gotten used to seeing the lower patent leather cut giving the shoe a much more desirable look to wear casually. These XIs will release again on November 11, 2017 and it looks like they made a TON of pairs.

Release: 11/11/2017
